Food Waste Data from Waste Disposal Sites
Proportion of Food Waste
In the survey of waste at disposal sites, it was found that food waste accounts for 25.19% of the total waste. During the rainy season, food waste accounted for 22.42%, while during the dry season, food waste accounted for 30.93%. Analysis of the composition of food waste (edible and inedible waste) revealed that 60.51% of food waste was inedible, and 39.49% was edible

When classified by type of waste disposal site, the proportions of food waste are as follows:
- Landfill Sites: Food waste accounted for 21.64%.
- Dumping Sites: Food waste accounted for 20.27%.
- Incineration Sites: Food waste accounted for 18.81%.
- Composting Sites: Food waste accounted for 60.19%.
